Vivian Yan, CPSM, PMP

Director, Business Development

Vivian is a strategic marketing and business development leader with more than ten years of experience in the aviation industry. As Director of Marketing and Business Development at DY Consultants, Vivian leads pursuit strategy, client positioning, marketing communications, and business development efforts that support the firm’s continued growth.

Vivian works closely with executive leadership, technical teams, teaming partners, and clients to evaluate opportunities, shape pursuit strategies, strengthen relationships, and position DY for competitive aviation work. Her role requires strong judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate both internal priorities and external market dynamics.

With a strong understanding of DY’s aviation planning, engineering, and program management capabilities, Vivian helps translate technical expertise into clear, client-focused messaging. She is actively involved in major pursuits, industry outreach, conference strategy, and business development conversations where responsiveness, trust, and relationship management are essential.

Vivian also oversees DY’s brand visibility and communications efforts, including digital marketing, social media, award submissions, advertising, email marketing, and conference-related campaigns. She has also helped advance DY’s business development systems through the adoption and implementation of the firmwide Client Relationship Management platform, supporting stronger pipeline tracking, client engagement, and data-informed decision-making.

Vivian earned the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation from the Society for Marketing Professional Services in 2020 and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. She completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers and received Dale Carnegie’s Outstanding Performance Award in 2019.
