Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer – Airport Transit / APM Systems
Location: New York, NY and remote at on-site project locations
Job Description: DY Consultants is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager/Civil Engineer with expertise in the design of infrastructure supporting the development of transit systems, with a focus on Automated Passenger Movement Systems (APMs), at airports. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing design standards, integrating transit systems into existing airport ground access infrastructure, and supporting the development and implementation of project design documents. The Senior Project Manager/Civil Engineer will coordinate bidding and management of contractors, perform quality control and quality assurance, and interact with our airport clients as a senior project representative. - Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in the design and construction oversight of transit systems, preferably at airports
- Experience and skills in project and program management of large-scale civil design projects
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to APM infrastructure design

The position is located in the New York metropolitan area and requires a candidate with at least 5 years of construction management experience, preferably on airport projects. A Professional Engineering license is preferred.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee construction projects on airports, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review and approve construction plans and specifications, including pavement designs, grading plans, and construction drawings.

Drainage Engineer

Job Description: The Senior Drainage Engineer provides coordination of project execution and control, in each discipline area, to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through project closeout. Also accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects appropriate to discipline field.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of complex design activities for design/delivery; oversight of plan review, QC, technical specification, contract compliance with contract documents.

The ideal candidate will work with the engineers and planners to outline technology objectives, requirements and design and documentation approaches as well as working closely with DY’s IT department to provide technical support and assistance with CAD workstations.

- Research and implement client-specific (PANYNJ, NJDOT etc) CAD standards
- Develop in-house CAD standards and effectively implement these standards company-wide
