Nicolas Dorigny

Managing Consultant

Nicolas is a highly motivated Senior Aviation Consultant with a dual master’s degree in Airport Management and Development and in Air Transport Engineering. Nicolas has provided on-site support to prominent facilities such as the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) on various on-going planning projects at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport.

His aviation forecasting and consulting skills are applied to airfield improvement and terminal redevelopment projects. On behalf of the Aviation Planning Division at PANYNJ, he has been leading several components of the JFK Redevelopment Program. Nicolas manages the review of technical proposals from terminal developers regarding various JFK airport improvements and oversees the development of functional plans for supporting facilities.

He has experience in complex data processing such as Aerobahn airside surface data and Aviation System Performance Metrics. He also performs CAD drafting and gate/apron layout and design or terminal planning and design using PathPlanner/AviPlan.

Prior to joining DY Consultants, Nicolas worked for Paris Airports Group (ADP) on a new jet blast impact analysis and measuring method that was tested on existing apron ground operations at Paris-CDG International Airport.
