ADG-VI Analysis

John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York

DY Consultants was tasked with forecasting demand for ADG-VI aircraft at the Airport to understand the potential for future operational challenges posed by ADG-VI aircraft. DY Consultants staff analyzed historical operations at the Airport, existing flight schedules and performance by A380 operators, and airlines strategic plans, and also met with aircraft manufacturers to solicit their insights. Four future scenarios were developed that provided an annual operations count by each ADG-VI aircraft, and an Average Day Peak Month (ADPM) figure.

As part of this Project, DY Consultants reviewed the airfield geometry and identify potential modifications that helped improve operational performance for ADG-VI aircraft, and hence the entire Airport.
