On August 9, DY Consultants’ very own Kan Liu had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of a group of multitalented individuals to give a tour of Woodbine Municipal Airport to the honorable Senator Cory Booker. As part of Senator Booker’s annual New Jersey road trip, Booker visited the Woodbine Municipal Airport to celebrate the award of a FY 2024 congressionally directed spending grant for $6.9M towards airport revitalization and improvements of the terminal and hangars. Kan provided Senator Booker with an overview of the Woodbine Municipal Airport’s history, current status, and the potential for positioning the airport to be at the forefront of the 21st century aviation development. To conclude the celebrations, Senator Booker presented a ceremonial check for $6.9M to the Mayor Pikolycky. This was captured with all the attendees for a perfect photo op with the senator.
