PEASE AIR NATIONAL GUARD

Aircraft Parking Apron and Access Taxiways

As a sub-consultant to Staunton-Chow Engineers, DY Consultants prepared a pavement study regarding
the Air National Guard aircraft parking apron. A detailed analysis of more than 59 acres of concrete
pavement was implemented under this study. The apron primarily services KC-135 Refuellers and
occasional transport aircraft (C-17s and KC-10s). The findings of this study warranted the
replacement of the concrete surface and a portion of the base course materials.
